Can’t upload avatars

Does anyone else get an error when trying to upload avatars? I’ve tried PNG and JPEG.

The error message wrote: The upload failed. Please contact a member of staff to help rectify the problem

Probably permissions. We got hacked because directories need to be 777 to be able to upload, and I got paranoid so never bothered setting them that way. I should probably enable that again some time.... just scary.

Well I haven't had a problem. But then again, I haven't changed my avatar for. . .about a year?

I host all of my graphics since the av function here doesn't work too well.

Yeah, that’s probably what I’ll do too. I just prefer using Red’s bandwidth.
