Basically, block your network from being able to access these IPs:

173.194.55.0/24
206.111.0.0/16

http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/1...mes_are/c91qw0l

I blocked it through my main firewall but that fix they show should work as well for windows. Probably need to have a startup script though... not familiar with that command so not sure if it saves or not.

It SEEMS faster for me, but I'm at work accessing it through my VPN to test so it's slow still, but it seems faster. I'll know for sure when I try it from home. ISP does not seem to matter.

WOWEE!!

A new post!! :P

I also gleaned the following link from the post you linked to, which tests for ISP throttling: https://broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/bttest.php

This will be an interesting test, as, I dropped my DSL and I am using my US Cellular Android as a hotspot for everything.

As an aside, I can no longer access 'Slacker Radio' since their site did an upgrade.

I get the message' It appears you have flash disabled'--which I do not. If I don't get this message, I just get a page with their emblem and nothing happens.

They went to a Flash concept, which ALWAYS causes problems.

Their tech support is USELESS. :pissed off:

Should be a fun test to run, considering I'm *INSIDE* the central office. The local loop is very local. :biglaugh:

Edit: Ran a few of em and results are good so far!

I work at the NOC. :)

Looks like the frame room, I run wires there sometimes. :D We even have those wooden ladders on wheels that's what looks like there is in that picture. Quite classic.
