Re: Bought an Eltek Rectifier Shelf

Pic of entire rack. Have not updated any of this stuff in quite a while. I eventually want to setup a Proxmox cluster.

Re: Bought an Eltek Rectifier Shelf

Relocated the two hydro feeds, added 2 solar feeds, and 2 spares for future expansion. I suppose 80 amps of available power at the rack is quite overkill when my whole equipment rack uses like 800watts. Had been meaning to do this for a while since the existing feeds were in a really awkward l...

Re: Bought an Eltek Rectifier Shelf

Racked, hooked up to temporary battery pack, and connected to 1200w inverter. The wiring is not that great, but I plan to redo all of it permanently once I buy some proper #2 wire and lugs. Powering my whole rack now, the old UPS is plugged into the inverter, so if this dies the existing UPS will ta...

Post editing comes after a few posts. New members are into a "pre approve" group that limits some functionality. It's mostly to help stop spammers. Might add like/dislike or similar stuff eventually but might leave it out too. Kind of feeling to see where this place ends up going or if it ...

The True Cost Of Mining Electric Car Battery Metals | True Cost | Insider News

I like the idea of EVs, but we can't ignore the process of making batteries being quite dirty. Long term they may be more green though but still can't ignore the impacts.

This is a pretty good non biased doc on the issue:

Your security program is crap

I've worked in a hospital before, this is all too accurate. https://crankysec.com/blog/shite/ It is. And everyone knows it. I know it, you know it, your nonna who got her identity stolen and is now on the hook for $100k worth of Ethcoin or whatever the fuck those things are called knows it, and your...

It's 1992 and you're walking in a department store, and look up. 99% chance this is a Kmart.

[Jan 2 2024] - Account management system fixes

This is a minor update to fix some functionality regarding emails. If you do not get an email such as an account creation confirmation email or a password reset, there is now an option to resend the email.

Also fixed some error handling related to email sending.

That should work. I'd have to double check the code but think it only cares that it gets something back, then it looks for "clients=" part.

Re: Pruned the stats table.

Somewhat related I just did something that may cause polling to fall behind for a bit. Will monitor to make sure it catches back up. I probably should have done this in smaller batches but I was impatient. :D

Pruned the stats table.

If you notice anything wonky with your stats it may be a result of this. Ideally it shouldn't have done anything major but worse case scenario your uptime and other parameters may change. Just did a bit of pruning on the stats table... I thought I had a job to do it automatically but guess not! 1537...

Re: Endor Revived

I just got it to show up. For some reason it was offline inactive, and it never tried to poll again. Normally it should repoll at some point. Should be good now! I will have to look into why that happened though.
